What is home staging?
Home Staging is the art of transforming homes so that it is appealing to the masses (buyers), not customizing to the single customer. It combines scientific and decorating tricks of the trade and applies them to the home for wide appeal. A professional home stager has the resources and expertise to depersonalize the space and create "emotional connection points" which actively engage a buyer's mind to imagine how life could be in your house for their family. When a house feels like home, buyers will reprioritize their list.

The housing market in Central Florida is good, so why should I stage?
Regardless of any saturation rate, if your house sells quickly in a good market it doesn't mean it sold for the amount it would have sold for had it been professionally staged. Why can't I just stage my own home?
Statistically, it is almost impossible for homeowners to "objectively" view their space from a buyer's perspective. And, after living in their homes for merely two years, they no longer notice the home flaws. You’ve gotten used to the way it looks, and in fact, it is difficult emotionally to change it. If you can’t view something objectively, then you are unable to effectively MERCHANDIZE it and make it attractive to buyers. Can't home buyers use their imagination and look past my decor or empty rooms?
